A Few Options

There are several alternative interpretations worth considering re: heaven and hell. One is that we’re in heaven right now; a previous version of this world was far worse. Or consider that hell is actually heaven, because God wanted to make it as easy as possible for us to be admitted—and since we’re all sinners, everyone’s in. Maybe there’s no heaven nor hell; He just wanted to scare us a little, so we’d at least try harder. Or perhaps those who are in hell now already walk among us, but just unable to make themselves heard. That’d be the hellish part.
