I love Jim deeply, but the data says it won't work out. His job is fine, but even if he’s promoted rapidly, he wouldn’t make VP until our kids are in high school. And his DNA sample yielded several vulnerabilities; he could die three to six years before the actuarial tables suggest. I can't subject my eventual children or myself to that! And no way his investments will accrue enough interest to retire by age 65. It's too bad because other than that, we’re perfectly matched. Well, maybe I’ll wait till tomorrow to tell him we have to break up.
