They say how you spend your days is how you spend your life, but Stan was never able to spend an entire day in one body, and is that really a life? He’d tried knocking himself out, staying awake, drinking, being in a coma, even being dead a few times, with no success. Mostly, though, he acted like a polite guest, trying not to intrude on their relationships (except the clearly abusive ones, which Stan deliberately torpedoed). Until one day, with a jolt, he realized he was back in his birth body, and immediately wished he were a guest again.
