Spectrum of Emotions
Just like there are colors some animals can see but we can’t, so too with emotions. On Beta Geminorum B, they’re born inherently understanding the necessity of eating your siblings moments after birth. On the ice-giant planets of the Orion Trapezium Cluster, they’re mind-boggled that we don’t comprehend the feeling of being conscious in multiple temporal planes simultaneously. In the Nu2 Lupi system, all life shares one planetary mind, so they think we’re missing out by not feeling parts of ourselves both living and dying at all times. But we absolutely do know what that’s like—we experience it every day.
